Personally Speaking

We are really looking forward to seeing Evelyn and her four brothers again. We didn’t see much of them when they lived in Tucson, so we are taking the opportunity to be with thDSC_0391em all  for the baptisms of Sammy and EV.  When Jonah was baptized, we asked Nathan what important thing was going to happen and he said, “We get to eat cake!” so a fun time should be had by all.  Our North Carolina children are struggling a little since moving to Raleigh. Their house has not sold in Tucson so they have had three temporary moves already since March.  Also Laura is having difficulty with changing her optometry license to North Carolina. They are not making it simple nor easy.
Ken’s sister was here the end of August and decided to move even though her house in Florida has not sold. She is ready to be near family. So we looked at rentals and then houses for sale. She choose a house about 10 minutes from ours. It is new, without any steps and with very little yard. She was able to select colors and flooring and some
configurations. Nancy is scheduled to close on Oct. 23.
Our other close-by grandchildren get bigger every time we visit them. We are so grateful to the Lord to be able to love on them and spoil them as much as
possible.
